we expected him back like next week actually. but he called just now and asked who was at home. and he mentioned that he was back and i was like whaatt?? true enough, when i checked the caller id, it said "private/payphone". hehe..

ok here's a conversation i had with khalid

k: eh go jb ah!
f: cannot lah.. my passport's in the car at my mum's office
k: we can go take what
f: but i haven't asked my mum yet. she confirm won't let one..
k: never mind. you just say my name three times. confirm sah nye. (confirm can one)
f: whaaattt?? (not that i didn't hear it the first time round rather, i was exclaiming on the audacity of it all)

hahahaha..

today, i had planned to go to rozzie's just to watch some dvds and she later suggested we head to the gym and pool after all that bumming and i didn't mind that so off we went with my gym/swim gear packed with me.

went to siglap and walked past kfc and rozzie said, "hmmm i wanna eat kfc!"
and when we went to video ezy, there was a fridge full of ben & jerry's! and i was like, "oooh i definitely want that!"
we consoled ourselves by saying we'd we exercising later on.

headed back to her place with monster house and this jap anime (which was actually in english and starring billy bob thornton and jada pinkett smith amongst others), princess mononoke, which was kinda interesting cos there were some brutal scenes a la kill bill. hahaha..

but after these 2 shows, we got lazy and sleepy and decided to watch a bit of little britain before we totally scrapped the exercise plans! hahaha.. that whole thing took place from 3+ all the way till ard 10. haha! we are such bums!

fyi, the greenish-reddish thing you may think is the table-cloth is not ok! hehe.. it's a gift as well. pashmina silk, from fadzry & harun. hee..

i had a sort of extended birthday celebration! hehe.. one that spanned 11 days! :)

first was the party & B&J's with 'asy & rab.

and then it was the mandatory dinner sponsored by mum. :)
went to fish & co.

and we got free diaries & chocoloates! oooohhh..

and then it was the joint dinner to celebrate rozzie's bday as well!
we had desserts & drinks first at secret recipe at siglap (the service there sucked big time).
and then we rented scoop from video ezy and ordered some kfc take away and headed back to rozzie's. damnnn lepakkk. a perfect evening for me. :)
i even got to ride on the new beemer! ooohh..

yeapp with the media centre and all! i'm never touching it ever again btw. cos rozzie told me i could play with it and i fiddled with it for abt 2 minutes when there were these beeping sounds! i think i caused that to happen. although we don't really know what happened. heh..

and finally, on xmas itself, the whole family headed over to my aunt's place for (what i had thought to be a traditional christmas) dinner! (it turned out to be a traditional english dinner. not christmas dinner. heh..)

the chef & dinner. teh first course lah. ididnt manage to take the other dishes cos i was too busy eating! haha..

anyhoos, my internet connection has been a pain today sia! apparently, i'm connected but i can't access any web page at all! finally, at around 6, i managed to access cors to bid for modules. but i still can't check my mail. boooo..

i'm 21! yeayyy!

but to be honest, it feels strangely normal. like it's just another birthday. just another year older. just this time, it gets slightly depressing/unnerving cos at 21, i realy have to get stuff sorted out. been pushing it for waay too long. now, i have to really think of what i want to do with my life.

and be realistic about it. no more excuses. no more "i dunno"s. no more ignorance. bye bye oblivion.

it's starting to suck alredi. but i'm not feeling bad about it right now. i feel.. hollow. it's like nothing's connected. my brain and my heart are not working together at the moment. it's a.. strange (for lack of a better word) feeling.

i finally opened all my presents! yeayy! the presents i got from the party. so funnn!

and i'm looking forward to the xmas dinner later on at my aunt's. wheeee!~ i hope it's truly traditional. i wanna see what it's like. hehe.. but then fara just told me that my grans is bringing epok-epok, soup & sambal tumis so i guess it's not truly traditional after all. hahaha.. nvm. a mix of culture is all the more fun!

it's a saturday and i had to wake up at 745, why??

cos i (thought i) had to go to the bank to switch an account type since i'm turning 21.

i had to roll myself out of bed (wishing i could roll myself to the back to get my towel) and showered only to reach the bank and be served for a total of one minute with the lady telling me that i need not terminate my account. i just needed a minimum of 100 bucks to be in the account.

ok it just occured to me that all our notes are ishaks hence hindering me from being a goddamnbloody poser and using american terms such as a hundred benjamins or whichever other dead president they have on their notes that i do not bother myself with to remember.

so anyway, thanks diana.. thanks. i know, on my part, i should've called to enquire first but then i just had to take di's word for it. it's ok. lesson learnt.

and i'm STARVING now. damn.. how to go back to sleep like this? booooo..

anyhoos, i met up with waty pulu doll yesterday! wheee!~ it was kind of a short one though cos we kept on delaying the meeting time. haha!

20 minutes into meeting her and we already started bitching! haha! i love her. she's so pretty.

superr yummy ice chocolate & mocha with gelato and fries with sour cream & salsa. yummm..

after these heavenly treats, i headed over to rozzie's to gym! after God knows how long, i'm finally stepping into a gym! not mine though.. which is kinda odd cos my parents pay bloody monthly maintenance for it. i gymmed and played squash and swam. by that i mean, ran for 10 min, walked for 2 min, hopped on that half-stepper-half-walker thingy for 5 min, did some weights, 2 crunches and a whole load of talking; attempted to play squash; and swam 4 laps, floated around and played relay games! hahahah! well done, fiza, well done!

the relay games really cracked me up! together with rozzie, yani, elly and hatta, we formed 2 teams (and a ref) and played this superr lepakk (and by lepakk, i mean funny) relay game where we're supposed to jog in the pool towards our partners and tag them before they have to jog back to the edge, climb themselves out and stand up straight. hahaha.. and the winning team is elly&hatta! but both times, they won by a hair! serious.

washed up afterwards and headed to simpang! :)

headed home after a drink and what did i eat when i got back?? sup tulang siaaa! seriously? why do i bother exercising? seriously. after all that hard work (hard work for me lah), i stuff fat-laden sup tulang down my stomach near midnight. once again, well done, fiza, well done.

i thought i of just slacking for a bit online and have an early night when khalid called me after di went out and asked me to follow them go bowling! and i was like, "whaaaaatt? i'm tireedddd.."

he passed the phone around for people to convince me to go out andjust when i was about to give in, diana said, "eh bring the car with you ah."

thanks ah. call me to use me only rite. wahh lauuuu.. but it wasn't too bad. diana & i were the top scorers for our team both times! even though our scores weren't impressive. haha! pathetic sia.

ok i shall go back to sleep now. happy holidays! 2 more days! yeayyy!

rab and 'asyurah missed my party so they asked me out for ice-cream today!

wheeee!~ it's so great to see them. :) rab brought her colleague, ida too. had fun catching up with these two!
planned to meet at suntec and rab asked whether i wanted gelare, swensens or ben & jerry's! no points for guessing which i chose! hehehe..

'asyurah came late so we had some while waiting for her. wanted to get 6 scoops but figured that it would be too much for us so we got 3 scoops instead. boy, were we wrong! after we were done ravishing it, we realised it wasn't enough. hahaha.. but no matter, we had seconds when 'asyurah came! hee..
so anyway, they came with presents! wheeee!~

the rain. the rain. *theatrically*

is spoiling my plans! ok not yet lah. cos i'm still planning to go out! just hope that the rain will let up for those few minutes that i need to walk to the bus stop. pretty pretty please!

i've checked out modules to take next sem! i pray i pray that i wouldn't have to overload. if everything goes to plan (insyaAllah), i'd only have to take 2 level 3000 math modules and 3 level 1000 modules! ooooh.. AND i'm planning to take french and this physics module which are unexaminable! wheeee!~ the only downside lies with the math. there are not a lot of modules to choose from and some of them are reaallly small classes. i mean, the lecture venue is a bloody classroom can! wtf sia.. how to skip like that??

i know i shouldn't be planning to skip classes but who am i kidding? i know myself better. i've tried to tell myself not to but things just don't go the way you want them to sometimes.. so oh well..

i'd just like to say that.. SHIELDTOX RAPID KILL ROCKS!

i mean, i thought i loved killing cockroaches with insecticide before this, but apparently, i didn't know what love is. but now that i've found SHIELDTOX RAPID KILL, i LOVE killing cockroaches.

before, it used to take me about more than 15 seconds just to chase after a cockroach and make sure i flood it with enough insecticide for it to lie flat on its back with its legs moving about frantically. and then i'll spray a little bit more just for fun.

but now, with SHIELDTOX RAPID KILL and good aiming, it takes me about..what? 2 seconds of spraying? it'll run off, yes. but it won't get far before it gets immobilised. and then i'll do my normal routine and spray a little bit more and it's done. wheeee!~ NO spasms. NO frantic moving of legs. just dead. hehehe.. i liiiiiike!

how's that for an advertisement? haha
