dilah wilah and fiza wiza! went to the cathay to watch the beat that my heart skipped. at the picturehouse! ooooohh.. super spacious and lovely seats. we forgot abt the no food and drinks rule though cos we were too hungry! we were on the way to the ticketing booth when we passed the f&b counter and we just couldn't resist getting some nachos! it was 5 minutes before the movie started when we got the tickets that we were remined of the food and drinks ban! aaarrrgghhh..
so we (or rather i. cos dilah was nibbling at a super slow speed and insisted that that was the fastest she could go.) wolfed down the nachos with the WEIRD cheese sauce and gulped our lemon tea at the picturehouse lounge before entering the theatre. alas, we missed the first 5 minutes. boooo..
abt the movie.. i didn't know what to make of it. the reviews said it was "thrilling" but i didn't get the thrilling part of it. and i was constantly distracted by the drilling sounds outside and was annoyed that the theater wasn't soundproofed! and maybe i was too tired and sleepy but i found myself distracted by their dialogue.. like when the guy said, "cent soixante dueze(i forgot how to spell this)", i went
hey i know that! overall, it was an okay movie. nothing great cos dilah and i can't make anything out of the movie. we dunno how to interpret it. and we have a nagging feeling that there might be something in the first 5 minutes that we missed that could have been pivotal in the film. oh well..
