Shotover jet! This red jetboat goes up to 80kmh through the canyons. Superb I tell you! Going at that speed near the canyon walls and turning a full 360 degrees a few times. Thrilling as hell! Cold as hell as well. My ears hurt! But it was oh-so fun! Wheeeee! And our driver, troy, was funny and charming to boot! Hehe.. Stopped along the way to give us a brief history of the place(gold-mining area) and to wait up for the other boat. this jetboat needs just 3 inches of water for it to skim through it. amazing huh?
